How to file an RTI request

  1. Write a clear application specifying the information required and postal/email address for reply.
  2. Pay the prescribed fee (if any) as per the RTI rules and include proof of payment.
  3. Submit the request to the concerned Sectional CPIO / Nodal Officer (RTI) at IGFRI, Jhansi or send by email to the designated CPIO email (when available).
  4. For first appeal, approach the First Appellate Authority (FAA) within the prescribed time.
